- 2 cups Whole wheat flour (Atta)
- 1 & ½ tsp Salt (Namak)
- Water as required
- 3-4 medium Potatoes (Aloo)
- ½ tsp or to taste Red chili crushed (Kutti lal mirch)
- ½ tbs or to taste Red chili (Lal mirch powder)
- 1 tsp or to taste Salt (Namak)
- 1 & ½ tsp crushed Coriander seeds (Dhania)
- 1 tsp crushed Cumin seeds (Zeera)
- 1 tbs chopped Green chili (Hari mirch)
- 2-3 tbs chopped Green coriander (Hara dhania)
- ½ tbs Garam masala
- Ghee or butter for frying

Step 1: Preparing the Dough
The dough is a primary & crucial element of crispy Aloo paratha.
- Let’s start the preparation of dough. Take a bowl and add whole wheat flour in it then add water gradually with one hand and mix with other hand.
- Don’t add excess amount of water, mix well & knead well the flour until it forms a smooth and soft dough.
- Now cover the knead dough with a damp cloth and place it at room temperature for half an hour.
Step 2: Making Potato Filling
- Take potatoes, wash them well.

- If you feel that the dough will stick to the board then sprinkle some dry flour on the board.
