- 1 Chicken cube
- 1 tbs crushed Green chili (Hari mirch)
- 4 sliced Garlic cloves (Lehsan)
- Cooking oil 1 tbs
- ½ cup Yellow chickpea lentil (Chana daal) soaked
- ¼ cup Yellow lentil (Moong daal) soaked
- ¼ cup Red lentil (Masoor daal) soaked
- 1 small sliced Pyaz (Onion)
- 1 small chopped Tamatar (Tomato)
- Fresh coriander (Hara dhania) chopped handful
- 3-4 sliced Green chilies (Hari mirch)
- ½ tsp Garam masala powder
Tarka:
- 1/3 cup Cooking oil
- 1 medium Onion sliced (Pyaz)
- 2 tbs chopped Garlic (Lehsan)
- 5-6 Red button chilies (Sabut lal mirch)
- 1 tbs Cumin seeds (Zeera)
- 10-12 Curry leaves (Curry patta)
Aloo Tikki:
- ½ kg boiled Potatoes (Aloo)
- 2 tbs chopped Fresh coriander & Mint leaves (Hara dhania & Podina)
- 1 chopped Hari mirch (Green chilli)
- ½ tbs roasted & crush Cumin seeds (Zeera)
- ½ tsp Garam masala powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder (Haldee powder)
- 1 tsp crushed Red chili (Lal mirch)
- 1 tsp or to taste Salt (Namak)
- 1 tsp Chaat masala
- ½ tbs crushed Red chili (Lal mirch)
- ½ tsp or to taste Red chili powder (Lal mirch powder)
- 1 whisked Egg (Anda)
- Cooking oil for frying

Step 1: Getting ready the Lentils
- Getting ready the lentils before cooking the street style dal chawal is very important. So let’s start, first of all clean the lentils and wash them.
- Then soak the lentils in water for an hour and set them aside.
- After that drain the water and place aside the soaked lentils.
